Customer Support Adviser, Llandudno Junction

I have worked for Student Finance Wales for 3 years now after working in banking for 34 years. From my first day I felt welcome by all. My first two weeks were taken up with induction training, and after completing the training I joined my team and started the journey of SFW Customer Service. The support and encouragement was (and still is) fantastic.

As advisors, we offer a bilingual service in both the spoken and written Welsh Language. We've actually quite a diverse customer base and deal with many other nationalities.

Training is given on a regular basis so we are kept up to date with any changes to Student Finance. This ensures a professional and knowledgeable service for all our customers whether they are in Higher or Further Education.

Training is given by Tony Evans, our in house trainer. We also receive regular coaching from our Team Managers, which is very beneficial when dealing with the variety of enquiries we receive from our customers.

Our office has a very strong team spirit and I work alongside some great people. Everyone is motivated, positive and friendly and as a result of this our customers receive an excellent customer experience.
