Recruitment Process

All applications will be acknowledged when they are successfully received, either through the iRecruitment system or recruitment mailbox. Throughout the process you'll receive automated emails providing updates on the status of your application.

Once applications have been short-listed, successful applicants will be invited to participate in our selection process. The format of the selection process will depend on the job for which you apply. Processes used include telephone interviews, competency based interviews, assessment centres, testing and presentations. Whichever form it takes, the selection process will evaluate how you and other successful applicants demonstrate their skills and knowledge against the competencies, skills and experience that the job demands.

Our short listing, interviewing and selection processes are based upon the principles of fairness, objectivity and openness. Student Loans Company strives to be an equal opportunities employer.
