What’s the job?
Student Loans Company is looking for a Team Manager within our Operations Payment Services department. The department is responsible for making timely and accurate Loans and Grants payments to students and education providers circa £20bn each academic year. You will manage a team of Payment Assessors & Lead Payment Assessors, monitoring the operation of the team to ensure that all tasks are dealt with in line with Company targets and standards. You will ensure optimum staff skills are maintained in line with business requirements, with emphasis on customer care.
How do I apply?
You will have experience of using ICT systems with the ability to supervise, motivate and develop a team. Ideally you will have management experience within a high volume processing service and be qualified to NVQ level 3 in a Management related discipline (or relevant experience). Excellent Communication skills are essential with knowledge and understanding of SLC’s operations, processes, policies and procedures highly desirable.
