G3 - Permanent - Monday to Friday (9.00am - 5.30pm)

What's the job? 

Student loans Company is looking for a Support Analyst to join our Technology Operations department on a permanent basis.

The Technology Operations department is responsible for providing the appropriate operational support and enabling capabilities for the SLC Technology Group.  This is achieved through a defined sourcing model and vendor management structure, to deliver against corporate priorities.  The department owns the Technology Group demand and resource plans; and drives effective utilisation of vendors through appropriate vendor management performance metrics.

We are in the process of forming a team that will operate within the Technology Group but work closely with the SLC Commercial and business functions to enable achievement of our corporate goals.  In order to achieve our vision we require a dedicated team of staff who are keen to get involved in the early design of a new and exciting function that will quickly add significant value to SLC.

The Technology Group Compliance function is responsible for IT Regulatory Compliance, IT Audit Compliance and IT Governance support, including maintaining oversight of risk across Technology Group. The Technology Group Compliance function is charged with managing our professional relationship with regulatory agencies and providing guidance on dealing with IT regulatory developments, preparing reports for Boards and Steering Committees, and monitoring compliance with IT regulations and strategic objectives.

This role will support the Compliance Manager in development, management and enforcement of the Technology Group Management Controls Framework. The role holder will manage and coordinate Group audit and risk activity, action plan tracking and support management with its responsibilities in responding to requests from internal / external audit entities and corporate risk. This will include reviewing requests, monitoring audit and risk execution through monitoring and collating evidence, and tracking successful implementation of recommendations.

How to Apply? 

It is essential you have a proven track record in a multi-disciplinary IT environment in public or private sectors.You will have experience of control framework compliance OR IT audit OR risk frameworks and tools and an understanding of the 3 lines of defence model.
