What's the job?
Technology Services is one of three divisions in the Technology Group. The focus for this remodelled function is primarily to provide services to support Cloud adoption and evolve a more visible business focus for Customer, Operations and Repayments Directorates.
It is responsible for the provision of the Services needed to support the operations of “live” systems and ICT Infrastructure. It consists of ICT, SAN, Virtualised environments and ITIL Services. It is also responsible for the Service desks, Network Operations Centre and the management of our Data Centres and a Cloud based future. The department has circa 180 personnel.
Technology Group are looking to fill two Senior Analyst positions within the Network Support team. This role will involve senior responsibilities within a team of Network Analysts including guidance, mentoring and development. Additional responsibilities include third party relationship management, strategic planning and responsibility for correct implementation, approval and governance of firewall rule change process. In addition, provision, support and maintenance of all network components and management of the WAN infrastructure environment.
Role will involve working closely with Network Manager to ensure team is functioning effectively to support SLC’s customers and staff.

How to Apply?
It is essential you have experience working in a technical IT environment, developing, managing and supporting mission critical systems and experience managing / working within a large ICT infrastructure support environment involving multiple load balancer, firewall technologies and switching/routing services across multiple environments. You will have have solid technical skills and hands-on experience of f5 technologies, multi vendor Firewalls (Checkpoint and Cisco), Cisco switching and routing, TCP/IP and Solarwinds and experience of WAN technologies and service provider management together with understanding of network security best practice (both wired and wireless).
