What’s the job?

The Customer Relations Team is based in Darlington and Glasgow. They respond to complaints from the entire business area, including Parliamentary enquiries, CEO and Head of Service complaints. Their aim is to provide a satisfactory resolution to the customers concerns. They will do this by analysing the root cause of the issue and providing a tailored response to the customer. They provide feedback to the business areas based on complaint statistics and trends.

You will deliver an efficient and effective service to students and sponsors by providing a positive resolution to their complaint whilst ensuring accurate eligibility and entitlement to funding along with maintaining relevant performance and quality targets.

 

How do I apply?

You will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, be PC literate with ability to interrogate and analyse the customer databases. Furthermore you will be energetic and passionate about customer service with the ability to build strong relationships and make good decisions. You will be able to utilise your proven planning and organisational skills, coupled with the ability to gather information and assimilate facts quickly and effectively to manage deadlines and priorities. Ideally you will have previous complaint handling experience and knowledge of the student loan repayment process and be able to demonstration of full understanding of SLC’s products and services and the function of the various departments.
