What’s the job?

We are looking for a Risk Analyst to join us at our light and airy office in Darlington on a permanent, full time basis of 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, with access to our on-site canteen, free parking (first-come-first-serve!) and a wealth of SLC benefits including 36 days Annual Leave per year. For internal applicants, this role may be offered on a secondment basis, allowing you the freedom to explore this career development opportunity whilst maintaining the option to return to your previous role.

In your new job as a Risk Analyst, you will receive a good deal of in-role training to allow you to play a supporting role in increasing risk awareness throughout the company and embedding the principles of risk management throughout the organisation. You'll produce reports on the data you analyse and you'll become a Subject Matter Expert in this area, adding invaluable skills to your CV and potential career in Risk Management. 

You will be working closely with our new Compliance Team, which will soon be established, with whom you'll build and maintain effective working relationships to further support risk management and compliance throughout SLC. This role will include occasional travel to our headquarters office in Glasgow City Centre, including an initial period of training. Please see the available Job Description for a full list of your key responsibilities.
