What’s the job?
We are looking for an experienced Project Accountant to join us on our Transformation Project. This will be a full time role of 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, in our Glasgow City Centre office.
Your new role will be to provide specialist financial advice, and in doing so you will also be an integral element of the governance structure. You'll ensure that the client group is financially aware so that any risks or decisions are based on solid financial information. You'll do this by providing comprehensive financial reporting in an accessible format for non-financial stakeholders. In this way, you will be a finance partner to the project, ensuring that value for money is achieved for all expenditure.
Your role will develop your skills and experience in data analysis, financial advising, procurement and commercial activity, information presentation, and public sector governance. Please see the full list of your key responsibilities in the available job description.
