Salary: £16,378 - £20,311 per annum (pro rate)

Part Time (22.5 Hours per week)

What’s the Job?

The Estates team are responsible for maintaining a welcoming and safe working environment. They are looking for a part-time Mailroom Operative to join the team. The purpose of the job is to process all of the incoming and outgoing mail. Other responsibilities include operating all incoming and outgoing mailing equipment and preparing documentation for other mailroom processes.

Some of the Key Responsibilities of the role include: To process all incoming / outgoing mail. To assist in the daily distribution and collection of mail documents to / from different departments. To log and record various deliveries that are coming and going from the business. To undertake an element of everyday manual handling and portering duties. To comply with all Health and Safety requirements for the operation of equipment.


How do I apply?

Some of the Knowledge, Skills and Experience required for this role: 1 year clerical / administrative experience OR experience of working in a high volume processing environment OR experience in a similar role. Basic IT skills (Excel and Word, Keyboard experience, updating systems). Accurate, organised and methodical approach to working. Good communication skills at all levels of the business. The ability to work to deadlines.
