Information Governance Co-ordinator
G3 - £23,294 - £27,190 per annum
Permanent – 37.5 hours: Monday to Friday 09:00-17:30

What's the job?

As Information Governance Coordinator, you will be required to support the activities of your colleagues within the Information Governance & Compliance Team, working closely with the Information Governance & Compliance Manager and the Information Governance and Assurance Manager to ensure that the team are able to deliver against key milestones throughout the year. You will have the opportunity to develop your experience in information security, compliance and governance, and general personal development as you support other areas of the team. You will work and act with integrity, have a good eye for detail, and an ability to work with colleagues from across the business in order to build trust and effective working relationships. You must have experience of working within a dynamic environment and it would be advantageous if you have experience of working in a compliance or risk management environment.

How do I apply?

It is essential that you meet the knowledge, skills and experience required for this role, including: 

Technical Skills

  • Accuracy and attention to detail, both numerical and written
  • Ability to proof-read artefacts with a high attention to detail
  • Create and track the development of documentation in line with Corporate standards
  • Timeline plan creation and maintenance
  • Understanding of financial management in relation to budget forecasting, requisition raising and receipting
  • Advanced MS Office suite knowledge, including PowerPoint, Excel and Visio
  • Excellent organisational, administrative and planning skills

Behaviour Skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills – verbal and written
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships
  • Ability to follow direction and to take ownership and responsibility for own work
  • Capability to  deliver to strict deadlines
  • Ability to work on multiple competing priorities in parallel
  • A desire to continually learn new and expand skills, specifically around Information Risk Management and Compliance
  • Structured and logical approach to work, constantly looking for better ways to achieve the desired outcome.
