Why SLC?

Would you like the opportunity to develop your own personal and professional skills for your future while helping our customers invest in theirs?

If you answer ‘yes’ to all these questions, we might have the perfect job for you.

What’s the job?

This job sits within our Partner Services team and will see you work with our education partners throughout the South West of England. Your main purpose in this role will be to define, prepare and deliver Information and Guidance (I&G) on Student Finance services in order to equip our partner Universities and Education Providers to be able to support students with accurate information and guidance. You will resolve queries from our partners and you will provide a thorough service in fulfilling partners’ needs for information and resources. You will have the opportunity to evaluate the delivery activity by partners in your defined regional area in line with student finance needs, and you will implement solutions to extend or enhance delivery in your region. A further list of your key responsibilities can be seen in the attached Job Description.

You will work predominantly from your home, based in the South West of England (predominantly Bristol, Bath or Exeter) area to facilitate easy and frequent travel throughout your region to meet with our partners and your SLC colleagues.

How do I apply?

You will be an experienced Account or Relationship manager (or similar), ideally with knowledge or understanding of the world of eligibility and entitlement for Higher Education funding. You will also have excellent planning and organisational skills, communication skills, both written and verbal, and good presentation skills. Experience of working in an Education, Local Authority or other Public Sector organisation would be highly beneficial to understanding this role.

Please read the attached Job Description for more detail, and let us know if you have any questions.
