What’s the Job?
Student Loans Company is looking for a Content Editor to create, edit and disseminate compelling and customer-focused content. The main objective will be to produce compelling content, ensuring it is written to an excellent standard and incorporates input from key stakeholders throughout the business. Remaining factually correct at all times.
Working closely with the Executive Editor, your main focus will be on producing original content in line with the style guide, then reviewing, condensing, correcting and arranging material (text, articles, images, sound, video, or film) and preparing it for final presentation / publication. You will also review multimedia content (and correct as necessary), ensuring that content is maintained to the very highest quality standards. Working closely with other marketing teams to ensure consistency across the different channels, it’s important to be able to liaise and communicate with a wide variety of internal colleagues, stakeholders and external suppliers.
How do I apply?
You should have experience within a marketing / communications based environment and be educated to degree level in a relevant discipline (or hold similar industry standard). You will also be computer literate in all Microsoft applications and the internet (Plain English trained is desirable but not essential), as well as having experience of content management systems. You will have proven, strong organisational skills (meeting deadlines, working under pressure, managing timetables, prioritising work etc).
