Why SLC?

Do you want to be part of a fast-moving, dynamic organisation in a bustling city centre location? Do you have experience of managing and prioritising different work streams, ensuring the business is adaptable? Could you thrive in a department that focuses on managing change?

If you answer ‘yes’ to all these questions, we might have the perfect job for you.

What’s the Job?

As Business Readiness Lead your key role is to lead, manage and deliver change for staff by ensuring the business is ready to accept and absorb change. This includes having a deep understanding of change that is being introduced to SLC’s processes, systems and procedures; understanding the teams that are impacted by the change and developing plans which ensure the business and the IT teams are ready to adopt and absorb the changes when they happen. In addition, the team overall must have an extensive understanding of what changes are happening throughout the business so that they can assess the ability to absorb change at the rate that is being requested of them. To support this, you will develop a thorough understanding of the Organisational Change Programme, identify cross-cutting impacts that affect Directorates and seek solutions to mitigate these.

How do I apply?

You should be educated to degree level education or equivalent experience with experience of managing change and business readiness within a project change environment. You will be experienced in using recognised change principles such as change impact assessing and mitigation planning, stakeholder mapping, communications design, business readiness assessing and stakeholder engagement practices. You will possess excellent relationship management skills with the ability to quickly gain the confidence of senior colleagues and staff across the Company, excellent written and verbal communication skills honed by dealing with people at all levels – internal or external clients and partners and have the ability to work autonomously or as part of a multi-skilled team

If the above description sounds like you please apply below and a member of our dedicated Recruitment Team will be in touch.

**Please note - As part of the selection process, SLC uses third parties to perform a number of pre-employment checks including reference, criminal record and credit reference. They may supply us with information that will assist us with our recruitment decision**
