What’s the job?
This role is to produce technical specifications and physical design from logical design specifications, you will also produce efficient and reliable code, and undertake unit testing to the highest standard following version control. Successful candidate will complete walkthroughs and quality reviews of own and other team member’s work, Analyse problems and provide technical solutions. Working with business users, business analysts, internal and external contractors to analyse requirements and prepare for and perform systems implementations. You will also be responsible for preparing documents for internal and external use to agreed standards.
How do I apply?
Successful candidates will have strong working knowledge of ORACLE RDBMS and Toolkit, a proven track record in software developments using one or more development languages in a structured environment, also a track record in RDBMS development. Experience of handling large data sets and scaling their handling and storage is essential alongside strong communication skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
A Sound technical background, preferably including web based systems, using relational databases with data modelling experience. Experience of working on technical projects within a team and ability to quickly research and learn new programming tools and techniques, also and understanding of agile methodology and experience in working in an agile environment is essential for this role.
